The illogical hypocrisy of some climate deniers like Andrew Bolt has resulted in the posting of a guest blog at Graham Readfearn’s Green blog at “The Courier Mail”. Unfortunate but necessary. Enjoy.

'A passionate and informative demostration of how mitigating climate change can be compatible with economic growth'
Professor Ross Garnaut, the Garnaut Climate Change Review
'Humanity's greatest challenge is to minimise the consequences of climate change. With challenge comes opportunity. This book is about opportunity'
Professor Peter Doherty, Nobel Prize winner
'A fascinating and provocative insight into how business can make the most of the environmental challenge'
Geoffrey Cousins, business leader and author

Thanks to all my supporters, friends and family for all their efforts. In particular my literary agent Benython Oldfield, has been magnificent and Sputnik Agency who developed this website and hosted the Melbourne book launch - I can't thank enough all those at Sputnik for donating, developing and supporting me!

Looks like you need to inform the public with some answers over at Bolt’s blog. Not that they expect it, as your crowd has a dismal record when confronted like this.
Ben,
I have been writing software for 30 years now (yes, even some modelling software …).
My outlook has been formed to some extent by having to converse with computers all day. They are extremely pedantic, and have no truck at all with the sort of fuzzy thinking that normal people often assume is ‘logical’.
But, coming from a high-profile Climate Scientist such as yourself, this ’sunscreen’ argument is flabbergasting.
To paraphrase Wolfgang Pauli (you have heard of Pauli have you not Ben ?) it is so bad it’s not even wrong.
