The Clean Industrial Revolution

Spoke for 20 minutes about the latest climate science and the book at a town hall forum with Maxine Mckew and Penny Wong in Sydney. After both Senator Wong and I spoke, there were questions from the floor. Low and behold I received none There was a lot of heat coming from the people about the softly stance on emissions targets and compensation to big business within the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme. It was very interesting for a scientists to see some of the anxiety out there in the community. In saying that, it’s fantastic that government ministers are doing these town halls so at least the people can at least ask them direct questions and hold them to account.
